ENL Property Limited is hiring a dynamic and punctilious Accountant to join the Oficea Finance team.
The Accountant’s main responsibility is to help the Company to make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and month-end accounting operations on properties.
- Conduct accounts reconciliation to verify tenant billings.
- Check input information for property and tenant lease to ensure accuracy.
- Debtors follow up.
- Validate invoices and payments.
- Analyse transactions and identify relevant accounting treatment.
- Prepare VAT, TDS, APS and other ad hoc returns.
- Review the work of and provide accounting support to the junior members of the team.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks or projects as and when requested.
- Monitor cashflow of development projects.
- Prepare cash position, forecast and budget.
- Assist with audit and MRA queries.
- Prepare and post final bookkeeping entries required for producing financial statements and management accounts.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
Qualifications, Skills and Experiences:
- Having first degree in accounting field and ACCA/ACA fully qualified or qualified by virtue of relevant Accounting experience in Real Estate industry.
- Minimum of 4- 6 years’ experience of preparing management accounts.
- Knowledge in Real Estate accounting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience in group company is an advantage.
- Experience with MRI-MDA Property Manager and Navision-Dynamics is desirable.
- Strong technical skills in accounting field.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office 365 tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Solid organisational skills (able to work using own initiative, control own workload and prioritise matters as appropriate).
